Established in 2013 in answer to the lack of knowledge of forest farmers of the potential of natural abundance around them. They often deplete these natural resources in search for income. Yayasan BringIn trains and assists them to optimize their natural resources potentials with zero damage to the nature, environment and the community. Taking this approach, for instance, we have succeded to prevent illegal logging in East Java within state forest area, by providing alternatives crops to be planted at forest’s bed and by training farmers to maximise their home’s backyard for income generation. We also have been training farmers in tens of village in Java, West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara, and Sulawesi to create innovative products and to access national and international markets.
Our main beneficiaries are young people, women, elderly people, and people with disabilities, by assisting them to identify, create, and realize opportunities.
Mandat is an Indonesian arthouse focused on creating works that capture people’s efforts to connect with nature, whether through individual actions or collective movements. Mandat has collaborated with various communities, individuals, and companies working in sustainability.
Mandat will take on the role of archivist for SOILUSI's project, documenting the journey alongside its clients.
