ABOUT US
SOILUSI was born out of a simple yet profound realization by our CEO, Listia. As a passionate cooking enthusiast, Listia began composting two years ago when she noticed that most of her household waste came from kitchen. The daily task of taking out the trash raised questions: where does all this waste go, and what happens to it? If a single household produces this such amount of organic waste, imagine the scale generated other kitchens that serve hundreds of people in daily basis. And since 99% kitchens in Yogyakarta do not process their own organic waste, the waste then send to tipping points. Listia has an idea to prevent organic foods scrap becomes time bomb. She then works together with Dedy and Dwi to create a start-up that tackles the growing problem of organic waste through composting.
OUR MISSION
Our core mission is rooted in a vision of putting back what the soil produces. Instead of allowing organic waste to pile up in landfills and produce harmful methane gas, we return these nutrients to the earth to help nourish farmers' lands and improve soil health. SOILUSI empowers communities and businesses to manage their own waste, reducing reliance on government systems and creating a more sustainable approach to waste management.
HOW WE WORK
At SOILUSI, we do what nature has perfected in forests for centuries: composting. We bring this natural process into a more efficient, controlled environment by introducing beneficial microorganisms and worms, speeding up decomposition and enriching the compost. By providing an alternative to traditional waste banks, which rarely process organic waste, we are closing the loop on waste, allowing communities and businesses to take control of their environmental impact.
JOIN US IN REDEFINING WASTE MANAGEMENT
Together, we can transform organic waste from a burden into a resource, nourishing our soil and making a positive impact. At SOILUSI, we believe in returning to the earth what it has given, creating a cycle that benefits both our communities and the planet.
